Markdown Reference
This document illustrates the available Markdown elements by providing examples which display the plain text source along with the generated html and the final result. Hugo’s default markdown engine Goldmark fully supports Common Mark syntax and all Github Flavored Markdown (GFM) extensions.

Since the theme uses <h1/> to render the document title, you should only use Headings of Level 2 and
beyond within the actual document. Also note that only Headings of Level 2 and Headings of Level 3
appear in the automatically generated .TableOfContents.
